I am new to this forum, and to gardening, and hope that someone can help!

My plum tomato plant (which has tomatoes growing on it) also has something else growing half way up the stalk, which I can only describe as a cucumber - about 5 inches long, a couple of inches in diameter and dark green.

I can send photo if that would help!

I am not even growing cucumbers in the garden, so no idea how it could have happened. The plant is in a grow bag outside, not in the ground.

I haven't cut it to see whats inside as wanted to leave it on the plant for an expert to tell me what has happened.

does anyone have any similar experiences of this?

I look forward to hearing comments.
Many thanks

Hi,

I recently moved home and have "inherited" a mature Cordyline Australis which is almost roof high. It is shedding brown leaves at an enormous rate. Because of it's height I am unable to remove the leaves before they fall. Please can someone tell me whether this a common occurance with this tree.
If there is no solution I may have it removed and replaced with another type of tree!

Thank you.[=(
