I don't think I have seen willows with leaves trailing on the ground, but I have never really looked for that. Good question! I have seen them trail leaves in water such as a pond or river, though,...

Yesterday I picked the first lot of lovely red Jubilee tomatoes! There are loads to come yet. I suspect I shall be making tomato chutney. =)

Could you not buy new spider lily bulbs and plant them in the autumn? That way you wouldn't need to worry about disturbing the existing plants.
