Any experience with tree seedling

I love gardening and I want to grow some native mixes. But I am finding it difficult to do so because of my busy schedules. I am a person who strongly recommends creating a small garden in every house as it will only bring positive changes into your lifestyle. Watering and maintaining plant will bring happiness to your life.
I want to experiment a lot with gardening. I am posting here to gather advice, support and warnings from gardeners who had experience with tree seedlings. I am hoping to visit a nearby plant nursery to get some seedling. I am interested in growing them. But I donít have any idea on how to maintain them. So I need advice from the experienced people in here.

What sort of things would you like to know, Amanda?

We get a lot of self seeded tree seedlings in our garden from the mature trees and find they don't need much looking after. In fact, we regard them as weeds and have to pull them out otherwise they would take over!
