My Xmas Cactus is showing signs of buds at the moment as it did this time last year.

When it produced flowers, it did so right through the Xmas period so it went well as it should have.

Hope that it does the same this year.

I see Christmas came early in the Kits' household last year as well! The Christmas Cacti clearly have no idea that they shouldn't be out just yet!

I am a very bad person as I forget to water houseplants! However, they seem to thrive on neglect. I guess I water them probably once every three to four weeks!

Pretty plants, Kits. How long will they flower for?

The flowers last for about two weeks, Val.

Shame, as they'll be over long before Christmas, but perhaps you'll get one for Christmas that is only just flowering then.

I am not fussed, Val, as I shall have my hyacinths for Christmas. I have yet to find a Christmas Cactus that flowers for Christmas! My last one used to flower mid summer!
