I've tried the specialist brands and they do work for a while but it isn't long before new weeds pop their blasted little heads up again.

to be honest I don't know.

The shed is attached to our utility so benefits from a little bit of passive heat from the house, which may be enough.

I have brought a hanging basket of fuschias into the shed for winter.

I assume if I keep them moist over winter then they may survive to thrive again next year.

Is this the right tactic?

That sounded a monumental task, you can't say gardening doesn't keep you fit.

Vinegar sounds a possible cheap alternative to the quite expensive weed killer....

I would say they are certainly brown rather than silvery brown and about half an inch in length.

It sounds as though they may well be clothes moths. I'll have to do some digging on...

We are getting an awful lot of brown speckled moths coming into the house from the garden.

They seem to be coming in to die, I assume our house isn't the moth equivalent of the elephant graveyard...
