Thanks!.. it rained here in April & May and we sure needed the rain. Since then not much rain at all & when it did rain it amounted to nothing. Hot & Dry here since.

Lavender bush & tree

Good morning Kits, it's a lavender bush, we also have three trees that are the same type. You can grow them as a bush or tree. :spinny:

Deer

A large doe jumped the fence into our backyard & could not find her way back into the field. It was 9 hours later that she finally jumped over the fence. She was scared by cattle near the fence line....

Vegetables & peaches

I checked the peaches this morning & noticed the birds are eating them so I picked a few to ripen up inside the house. More of them on the tree.Tomatoes are doing OK but the squash have done nothing...

Wild hogs

The past year we been having problems with wild hogs in our area, I had my infrared game camera on over night & three of them showed up. Good thing I have a high fence between them & my vegetables.

The other day I drove down the back way towards...

The other day I drove down the back way towards those old barns, this barn below is now gone, I heard the owner sold the lumber to a San Antonio firm. The empty lot is now covered with wildflowers.

A few owners of those old barns did sell the old weathered wood, most of the old barns are still standing but nothing is being done to them. It's a shame to see them go.
