The dry weather meant nightly watering and re-covering EVERY night after the deer have been trying to eat the potatoes !! More computer discs on sticks with string being tried.

Thank you,I will investigate....I put up some more bamboo canes with comoter discs on strings...works with birds etc.,so extended them across the allotment.Will keep you poo-sted...sorry posted !

Deer Problem..suggestions.

Almost every night/early morning the bleep bleep deer are pawing at my potatoes (mounded up) and are uncovering/partially uncovering them and I have five rows ! Hoof prints around other places too....

-1 or -2 to-night here.We had frosts like this here last year...and every year.I think (perhaps) as Easter was VERY early...some folk got suckered in...also last year was very sunny in March.
