Too late to plant wildflower seeds?

We have a small garden near the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria. My wife has suggested having a corner as a wildflower 'meadow' which sounds a nice idea.
Our daughter is coming out to us at the end of this month, would that be too late if we asked her to bring some packets of wildflower seeds?
Also would there be any issue of 'invasive' species? I see poppies and other 'usual' looking wildflowers in hedgerows etc here but have no idea if they are different to English varieties - a real beginner gardener here!

Thanks,

Chris

Hi, not sure where your daughter would be getting the seeds from but you would need to check if there are any rules on bringing them into your country.

This page provides info on establishment:

and this page on maintenance:

Dave has given you good advice about the legalities of bringing seeds in from the UK.

Scattering the seeds at the end of May should still bring flowers; they will just be a little later than normal.

Did you ever plant any wildflower seeds, Chris?
