im looking into purchasing a new strimmer, i do a lot of gardening and within the past 5 years, it has become a weekend job. i mostly use black and decker i've found a Ryobi strimmer,Strimmer-2085online for a price that i just cant let pass me by, but i would like to hear a few reviews before i rush in ! perhaps it is worth my while to pay a higher price for a black and decker one? any feedback would really be great.

I have got a Flymo strimmer but I think that Ryobi are a reputable make so you should not have a problem going with them or B&D. Happy strimming!

There are some great Ryboi strimmers at Amazon here.

Infact, I owned a Ryobi 30Cc touch start line trimmer in 2010, it was great, did exactly what I wanted. They are fairly lightweight also.

Would highly recommend this!

hi im new here but i will throw in my two pennys anyway, ryobi is indeed a reputable make and spare parts are availible if repairs are needed but at that price i dont think u would bother. I think it would be a gd idea to talk to someone at your local garden or diy centre about a secound hand petrol strimmer. Even secound hand they will outlast and out perform their battery/elctric operated counterparts
