Weeding seat/bench.

I keep looking at these and thinking I would really like one now. I use a kneeling pad but I am getting stiff when I use it. I'm ok until I stand up then my knees and back aches. I do a LOT of weeding and planting etc and think I will treat myself to a seat.
Has anyone else got one and are they worth having?

Not sure if these are available in the UK, but I use knee pads - they are made out of heavy duty rubber and have straps with velco so they are adjustable.

I've used them for years and they seem to last forever. I've found that if I kneel on hard surfaces without knee pads, my knees suffer.

I've looked at mats, but decided not to as you would be forever having to pick it up and move it.

With the knee pads, when I am weeding, I kneel down at one end of the garden bed with a mini mattock and a bucket and just work my way thru the bed - only have to stand up when I need to empty the bucket of weeds.

Yes Peter we have them here. My hubby uses those when he works on the car or in the garden etc. They are very useful and save his knees from a lot of damage.
I was thinking with a seat I wouldn't be bending over quite so much. I think I will put one on my Christmas list.

I must be doing it wrong as I don't kneel to weed, I bend over whilst standing. It does make my back ache after a while though.

Where flowers bloom so does hope.

Ooo Kits, that would finish my back off completely I use a Kneeler/seat and find it useful, The base when you have it upside down to kneel on is just right to take a bit of weight from the hands to help me get up.
The only trouble I have with them is that I need to move it fairly frequently, so have to keep bobbing up and down!
