Tomatoes and blight

Hiya
I have a 10' x 20' poly tunnel with raised beds. This year I grew tomatoes from seed and transferred them into the beds. They grew well but contracted blight and the crop had to be destroyed. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to the soil in order that this will not happen again with next years crop.

Many thanks
Jan

Welcome to Gardener's Forum from Admin and the Moderators, jan rak.

Tomato blight can often be down to watering problems - either too much or not enough.

There is some advice in this thread which you may find helpful.

Thanks for that, watering most probably was the problem. Do I need to treat the soil with anything before next years planting?
